Bhagirath Sewa Sansthan is actively engaged in the fight against AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome) through Targeted Intervention (TI) programs implemented in collaboration with NACO (National AIDS Control Organisation) and UPSACS (Uttar Pradesh State AIDS Control Society).
Spreading Awareness Beyond Ghaziabad
The Sansthan extends its efforts beyond its immediate location by organizing AIDS awareness programs in the Ghaziabad and Sonbhadra districts. Targeted Intervention for High-Risk Groups
Recognizing the unique needs of high-risk populations, the Sansthan has been selected by UPSACS and NACO to implement targeted intervention programs. Their focus areas include:
- Men who have Sex with Men (MSM): The Sansthan works with MSM communities to promote safe sexual practices and ensure access to essential services such as HIV testing and counseling.
- Female Sex Workers (FSW) Employed in Spas and Massage Parlors: Outreach activities are conducted to educate FSWs about HIV prevention methods and assist them in accessing necessary healthcare resources.

With strong support from the Health Department, the Sansthan has successfully achieved the goals set by UPSACS and NACO under their TI programs. This accomplishment reflects the organization’s dedication and effectiveness in combating AIDS.
